Part of my interest in becoming a dietitian was to have access to the knowledge and resources needed to make informed decisions about nutrition trends and how to best educate the public on the ever changing nutrition realm. I had my professional "aha" moment a few years ago when I discovered functional medicine. It's like everything I'd ever hoped and wished for the nutrition field was finally being built. Counseling, prevention, and treatment all centered around finding the root causes to your health symptoms (including unwanted weight!), and taking more personalized approaches with the realization that every single body functions differently.
My goal is to help you build a sustainable, balanced lifestyle where you fuel your body to feel and function your best.
